Ratticq vs. Kill-Kill
The pistol went off and the match began. Roaring, Ratticq's giant, flying Kroxigor took to the air and dove straight at Kill-Kill's Ogre Centaur, Ogre-asm. T-Rex landed directly in front of Ogre-asm, and used its feet and wings to stir up a great cloud of dust that enveloped the smaller creature. With the supernatural speed of a snake, T-Rex lunged forward with all of his blades. They all thudded harmlessly into the ground. Blinking dust from his eyes, Ogre-asm made a feeble attack attempt, but the Kroxigor's high toughness rendered the attack futile.
As Ogre-asm staggered around, T-Rex flexed his muscles and lifted Ogre-asm from the ground. the confused beast couldn't break out of the montrous beasts' astonishingly strong grip. T-Rex raised the beast above his head, then brought it down with a smash. Sickening crunches were heard as Ogre-asm hit the ground. For several seconds, neither beast moved. Ratticq was standing on the side of the arena, merely watching with amusement. Kill-kill leapt into the fray, but was swatted aside by the Kroxigor. The ex-stormvermin promptly fled.
Then, Ogre-asm began to stir. Sensing that his prey was not dead, T-Rex roared, liften the hulking centaur into the air, and threw it as far as he could. Ogre-asm didn't get up again.
OOC: Wow. Kill-Kill's beast survived longer than I expected.... a good match! T-Rex's toughness was too much for Ogre-asm, and you also had some awfully bad luck with the first blind roll.... you were blind almost the entire time!
Drachau vs. Draugen Quiskit
Short and sweet. the pistol went off, and Drachau's Gigantic Spider centaur scuttled forward at an astonishing speed to engage Draugen''s enlarged Wolf/Orc Centaur. The spider slammed into his opponent, and began shredding. After only a few seconds, Draugen's beast was bleeding from countless cuts and was gasping for breath. Furious, it tried to retaliate, only to be halted by The Unspeakable One's limbs. The Orc Centaur could barely react as its opponent's flail swung high in an arc, crashing down onto its head.
OOC: Drachau won.... it was faster than I expected. I had underestimated the Unspeakable one. Congrats.
Friar Divik vs. Haggensqueek
Divik walked onto the arena, his large form giving him an air of confidence. The corwd murmured; they saw no beast with him. COuld he have discovered Vilepaw's training technique?
Haggensqueek smiled. This looked easy. His beast, a slightly dwarfish Rat Ogre with lots of chains, roared in delight. He was going to kill something!
Haggensqueek shrugged, then whipped his beast forward as the pistol fired off. Divik stood his ground, simply smiling. Intent on their kill, neitther Haggensqueek nor his Ogre noticed the huge shadow coming in from above. At the last second, Haggensqueek looked up and gasped along with the audience. By then, it was too late. The biggest Squig anyone had ever seen, carried on massive wings, opened its maw wide. Haggensqueek turned and fled from his beast. The Squig swooped down and scooped the Rat Ogre up in its fanged mouth, then clamped its jaws down. The Rat Ogre's screeches halted as it's legs fell from the Squig's mouth. The flying Squig landed and feasted on the remains.
OOC: All I have to say is: :D
Doctor Woombesntein vs. Skreechit
The battle began with the shot of a pistol. Woomba and the MK2 faced off against Skreechit and his beast, Gazkrat. Conforming to the tactics Woomba had been using all tournament, he let Gazkrat charge. Instead of waiting for Gazkrat to reach him, however, three bolts of lightning emanated from his backpack, striking Skreechit's beast. Gazkrat staggered and slowed, but kept moving forward. when he reached the creature, Woombenstein's beast leapt in the air and slammed its limbs down onto the beast. It staggered even more, but remained standing. Buut it didn't stand for much longer. A limb with a vicious saw slashed across the wounded creatures throat, ending its pitiful life.
OOC: Interesting. Go Lightning. :P
Thrask Vilepaw vs. Vin-Tip
The match began just before the pistol started. Vin-Tip, armed with a flaming whip, charged alongside his beast, the Sqree-Quol Mark II, a centauric Rat Ogre. Vilepaw and his horribly twisted Clawcrab, which was spider-based, charged forward equally as ferociously. They met in combat seconds later.
Vilepaw, who took to the air, swooped down on Vin-Tip, whose flaming whip lashed out, missing Vilepaw by a hair. Laughing, Vilepaw descended, and a horrific rending of flesh filled the air as a whirring saw flashed in the Warplight. The dirt was soaked with blood, and Vin-Tip slumped over, the Flaming Whip falling out of his hand, and his stomach slashed.
In the few seconds it took to remove Vin-Tip, Clawcrab had made no advancement on Sqree-Quol except for a minor cut which splattered the attacker with acid. Both beasts fought ferociously. watching closely as he flew towards the battle, Vilepaw noticed that Sqree-Quol was attacking with a frightening intensity, his limbs a blur. Vilepaw blinked. How onn earth was CLawcrab dodging those blows? Looking even closer, Thrask saw Vin-Tip's beast dodging blows almost as easily as one raises a hand. Claw-Crab was not having the same ease, but he too had evaded injury. Roaring, Vilepaw joined the fray.
Ten minutes later, even with two things against one, Sqree-Quol was still alive. Vin-Tip was still on the ground, barely breathing, and Vilepaw was beginning to wear out. Damn, this one is fast.
Vilepaw flipped out of the fight for a minute, landing on the earth a few meters away. The two beasts were a blur, but he could see that Clawcrab was losing his intensity, while Sqree-Quol remained unwavered. Vilepaw narrowed his eyes. What was going on here? Clawcrab was supposed to be unbeatable...
Vilepaw shook his head and darted forward, roaring. Sqree-Quol ignored him and kept fighting Clawcrab. Vilepaw rushed around behind Sqree-Quol and brought his limbs down in a mighty blow. Sqree-Quol reeled violently, but managed to hold Clawcrab off. The beast seemed to be pretending that Vilepaw didn't exist. Smiling evilly, Vilepaw smacked the beast on the head with his blade. Sqree Quol's head was suddenly showering blood. But he still didn't give up. He kept fighting. Growing frustrated, Vilepaw began lashing out with everything he had... but he couldn't dent the armour...
Suddenly, without warning, Sqree-Quol dropped to the ground, unmoving. Clawcrab completed his blows before seeing his downed opponent, almost taking Vilepaw's head off. the Moulder soon had restored order. He looked down at his opponent's body. He looked like he had died of shok... from having his slightly loose-fitting armour struck too many times...
OOC: ALMOST broke the record. Not quite. :P. Wow. I do have to say... wow. That was almost as close as the Neek VP one. It was lucky for VP that the beast was acting strangely...
Vazzin vs. "The Doctor"
As the pistol went off, the mysterious Doctor and his opponent, Vazzin, paid no heed to subtelty. Both of their beasts, Vazzin's large Ogre, and the Doc's Ghoulash, roared furiously and charged forward. Seeing that this was to be a clash of the titans, both Moulders kept away from the fighting.
And it was a titanic clash.
The giant centaur tried to get a grip on the smaller Ogre, which kept elduding its grasp and striking as swift as a snake. In turn, Ghoulash ignored the blows, being as light as they were. However, the struggle quickly escalated, and before long, both beasts were swining all of their limbs at unheard of speeds, and the ground shuddered with the impact of the blows.
It was several minutes before one of Ghoulash's blows struck true, forcing Vazzin's beast to its knees. A quick stomp finished the beast.
OOC: Onto the next round!

Post-Finals
Drachau vs. Ratticq
The match started to the sound of the discharging pistol. Almost immediately, the elf and his Unspeakable beast rushed onto the arena, looking angry. The Gigantic Ratticq and his like-sized creation, T-Rex, came onto the opposite side, strolling confidently. The Druchii sneered. His confidence would soon be shattered.
Roaring, T-Rex took to the sky, circling above the arena a few times for good measure, then came shreieking down. Drachau barked commands to his beast, who prepared to take the onslaught, skittering around to confuse the Kroxigor.
The huge beast landed and made a similarly huge plume of dust. Undaunted, the Unspeakable One roared a challenge. T-Rex answered it, a blade slashing out of the mist. Drachau's beast shrieked in pain as black blood flowed onto the arena.
Angrily, the Unspeakable One struck back. T-Rex ignored the horrendously strong blows easily, and attempted to pick up the Dark Elf's beast and miserably failed. In his spot of vulnerability, T-Rex failed to see the Unspeakable's limbs lash out. The Kroxigor dropped his burden, roaring at the blood which flowed from his hands. Encouraged by the sight of the liquid, Unspeakable pressed forward, only to suddenly find chains wrapped around his neck. They squeezed shut, and gasps were heard from all over before Drachau's beast snapped the chains. Unperturbed, the beast pushed onwards. Angrily, T-Rex tried to blind Unspeakable, only to fail again. It was as if the creature has autism of some kind... it couldn't even be distracted by the waving Ratticq.
With a start, Drachau realized how close Ratticq had come to him. Ohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshit flashed through the elf's mind as he put the fighting beasts between him and the ferocious Hell Pit Moulder.
A sudden shriek split the air. Drachau stared at his beast. rivers of blood pured down its flesh, forming an ocean on the pit. As Drachau watched, many of the wounds began to heal, but it was not enough. Even in death the beast lashed out, intent upon his goal. At this point, however, it did no good.
OOC: Eeks. That was actually closer than it appeared. In the end, it came down to who had more saves: Even though the Unspeakable One had more wounds, he didn't have as much protection, which is, frankly, the largest reason as to why Ratticq one. It was a good match though. VERY good.
Scarskrex vs. Vilepaw
The pistol went off, and the match begun. As soon as the match started, Vilepaw and Clawcrab rushed forward at Breakneck speed. Scarskrex put himself into position, hoping for a chance to fight Thrask himself.
The chance wouldn't come. Vilepaw just laughed and flew in circles over the match. Scarskrex howled and cursed violently in frustration. Thrask grinned.
Meanwhile, Clawcrab threw himself onto Scarskrex's Giant Wyrm. The Wyrm roared as Clawcrab struck its spines and began slashing at the serpent. Angry, The Behemoth struck back, but Clawcrab appeared to be dodging all of its blows. It continued to lash out, drawaing blood.
The fight continued like this for several minutes, while Scarskrex swore and Vilepaw flew, and the crowd cheered them on. It was then that Clawcrab's tentacles lashed out and tipped the Burrowing Behemoth-beast. The wyrm fell over, and Clawcrab used the opportunity to drag the beast toward (the crowd gasped here) it's Giant Squig muth on th its underside. The jaws clamped down on the Wyrm, blood flowed, crunches sounded, and the beast went limp.
OOC: Clawcrab's Wardsave frankly saved its @$$. ^_^ Nice battle though... these matches are always closer than they appear. I do want to compliment Scarskrex on some suave moves there... ;) (You know what I mean... ; )
Doctor vs. Woomba
The match began to the shot of a malfunctioning pistol. The poor rat who fired it was blown to smithereens, much to the delight of everyone around.
As soon as the sound echoed through the arena, lightning arced from The Creature MK2's back and struck the Doctor's Giant Ghoulash. The bolts seemed to glance off the Giant, though, and he continued to charge forward, the Doctor mounted on its back. Seeing this horrifying beast, the Creature froze, its eyes widening with fear. Ghoulash slammed into the Creature, sending Woombesntein scrambling for cover and the Creature into the walls, where he lay unmoving.
OOC: HOLY SHNEEMUFFINHEIMERS! That was awful luck on Woomba's part... the lightning missed everything, then it failed a Leadership test it had to take... geez. Not a good day for the Sylvanian... Ghoulash literally ran TheCMKII over...
TO FRIAR DIVIK, RATTICQ, and VILEPAW (not the NPC that somehow made it :P) - I need tactics from you for the final round. I need to know who you plan on fighting first. That's the most important thing. Let the Penultimate round begin!

Penultimate Rounds:
Friar Divik vs. Ratticq of clan Gnawkin vs. Vilepaw vs. "The Doctor" Ghallden
In order to mark this event, the UEGT head judges (Karowak, Kalakkial, and Favrik) decided to shoot off a battery of thirteen Warp-Lightning cannons. The right-hand stands were decimated as all thirteen of them exploded violently. The beginning was delayed as a Jezzail team was called in and makeshift seats were made.
Finally, the Lone Jezzail went off. It didn't explode, but conveniently punched a whole through an audiencerat.
The contestants emerged from their gates: Friar Divik, looking confident in his abilities as "Kirby" the Flying Squig took to the air; Ratticq, his aura of strength emanating from his gigantic body as T-Rex took to the air; Thrask Vilepaw looking nervous his eyes darting around (particularly at the stables), and Doctor Ghallden, wringing his hands nervously alongside Ghoulash.
Friar Divik roared violently and moved forward at a surprsiing speed, heading straight for the Doctor. Ghallden growled and began to charge back, but the enlarged Friar was more than a match for the Moulder. Ghallden was sent flying several feet back, and he lay on the ground, limp.
Before this accident, however, the Doctor had managed to send his beast raging towards Ratticq. The Hell pit Moulder looked surprised and annoyed as he found Vilepaw, Clawcrab, and Ghoulash all bearing down on him. The Flying Squig happily flew overhead, trying to take bites out of Ghoulash, leaving long red slashes along the beasts' arms. Divik himself was teetering; he looked exhausted. Almost as if he had been poisoned...
While Divik had been busy with Ghallden, T-Rex had lunged down on Clawcrab. Vilepaw's vicious beasy was forced to seperate from his master as the two beasts engaged in furious combat. Clawcrab's Lightning Fast attacks were as much as match for T-Rex's strong blows as T-Rex's defense was a match for Clawcrab's. The two could not injure eachother.
Ratticq was having issues. T-Rex was tied up with Clawrab, and he had to deal with the heavily mutated Vilepaw and with Ghoulash. Deciding that the Giant was the harder foe, Ratticq flashed a sudden slash at the Giant's throat; the attack missed the throat, but a sickening crack came from the Giant's collarbone. He toppled over dizzily as the Flying Squig gleefully descended upon him (Divik still didn't look so well).
The head of Clan Gnawkin didn't waste another moment; he launched into an attack against Vilepaw. Thrask responded equally viciously, doding all of Ratticq's blows. Worms writhed under Vilepaw's skin, and many audiencerat's swore they saw some try to leap onto Ratticq to no avail.
A minute or so later, Divik tried to stagger over the ghoulash, but fell on the ground and lay there, barely breathing. The Flying Squig senses his master's distress, looked up, and saw Divik on the ground. the beast rose into the air and flew toward his Moulder, perhaps planning to eat him. As it lifted off of Ghoulash, the Giant roared and sprang up, eager to inflict some pain. The Flying Squig barely dodged the monnstrous beast as it charged Ratticq.
Ratticq didn't notice the Giant charging toward him, so intent was he on Vilepaw. The Moulder seemed able to detect where his next blows would strike, and moved out of the way. It was thus with great surprise that Ratticq reacted to Ghoulash's impact. Ratticq soon found himself cornered, fighting two opponents.
The crowd was so focused on the three-way battle that the didn't notice Divik stand up shakily, a steely look in his eyes. Uttering a battle cry unheard above the din, he charged foward. "Kirby," confused, flew in circles until he dizzily landed on the ground.
Diviks eyes blazed as his double whips lashed out at Vilpaw. The Moulder's eyes wodened as his limbs were trapped. Seizing the advantage, Ratticq snapped a kick at Vilepaw, removing the Moulder from the action. Unfortunately, this left Ratticq vulnerable for a split-second, which was all that Ghoulash needed. Lightning-fast strikes brought t he Moulder to his massive knees, then to tthe ground. Ghoulash howled in truimph...
...which changed to a howl of rage as the Flying Squig's jaws fastened around its neck, obscuring his head (this earned many laughs frm the crowd). Ghoulash tried to remove the Squig but to no avail. Blood began pouring from the beast's neck...
With a roar, a final strike from T-Rex sent Clawcrab to the ground, a glazed look entering his eyes. The beast turned to find an angry Ghoulash running towards it. It began to take to the air, but the trampling centaur slammed into the Giant Kroxigor, knocked him out of the air, then trampled on it. The beast didn't rise again.
The crowd was silent, following the final struggle so intently. it was after countless eternities that Ghoulash finally slowed, stopped, and fell onto the ground, unmoving. Sensing his foes' falleness, The Flying Squig removed hi jaws and took the the air, growling its victory. Divik smiled in a surprised ecstasy. He had won.
OOC: :o Holy crap that's what happens when the dice like you. :P Congrats Divik... you just won the &#&%*$**% huge prize... :P
