The Rejected
Season III
The Aviator and Bete... Bizarre!
The moral of the story is that you do NOT mess with Regenerating Squigs. Ever.
The first half hour was relatively uneventful, with the Aviator and his beast wandering around the pit, relatively undisturbed... until three beasts dove down from the smoggy sky, shrieking. One was a giant rat with massive bat wings, a second a Rat Ogre looking like an Angel out of Hell, and the third... indescribable. They all flew down as one, weaving in and out of eachother, staying closer together.
Unfortunately for them, Bete didn't buy it. The Squig(s) leapt up and swallowed the ratbeast whole, and the second head bit off the head of the rat Ogre. The third flyer veered off, circled, and dove again... but this time both Squigmaws clamped down on it, dragging it to the ground. Bete spent the rest of the time time devouring his food.

Twitch and Goose
You also don't mess with Hippogriffs. With lots of guns. Big mistake... after the first batch of four flyers attacked and (literally) were blown away, everything else in the pit avoided the flying predator...
Twitch Passes Through
Caseph and Harlequin
Caseph and his Ogre-like Bogeyman, Harlequin, met trouble the instant the doors closed behind them. Three rat Ogre-like things attacked them from behind a pile of corpses. The first two were gunned down the Harlequin's guns, and the last stood no chance against harlequin's attacks in close combat. Several other groups of various predators attacked shortly afterwards, but as Harlequin ripped them all to shreds, the attacks gradually faded to nothing, and Harlequin (and Caseph) were left alive.
Caseph Passes Through
Skritchit and Atlas
The two entered. Atlas immediately sank into the ground, and Skritchit hit close to the door. After two hours, Atlas came back up, and the two of them were let out.
Skritchit Passes Through
Raziel and Ralph
Raziel and his beast strutted into the pit in a confident manner, and were not afriad as the door closed behind them. The first hour and a half went by uneventfully... but in the last half-hour, the duo were attacked by six hideous beasts. Ralph tried to fend them off with his Warpfire Thrower, but to no avail! The beats converged on him and took him down.
Wraith In Shadow Does Not Pass Through
Monstose and Venomoth
When the two entered, Venomoth immediately took to the air. It flapped it's wings madly, and a light dust fell from them all around it. Nothing disturbed them for the entire duration.
Monstose Passes Through
Drachau and Vinz
Vinz towered over everything. Being a giant, this was to be expected. A few creatures in the pit approached the massive beast, but a kick usually sent them flying. A stomp usually then finished the job. Nothing messed with the Giant.
Drachau Passes Through
Chii and Blank
Chii and his Rat Ogre, Blank, were undisturbed for the first half of the tournament. An hour into it, however, they were attacked by two other Rat Ogre like beasts. Blank easily sent both of them packing, killing one and sending the other fleeing. They thought little of it... until twenty minutes later, the wounded beast came back, trailed by not one, nor two, nor three, but twenty beasts similar to it. Blank never stood a fighting chance, and so took to the air. Unfortunately, he wasn't quite fast enough, and one especially high jumper grabbed him and dragged him down into the seething mass below.
Undead_Rat Does Not Pass Through
Squeenik and A-Type
Like with Vinz, it tends to not be a good idea to mess with Giant-Sized Automatons. Nothing did, especially after Vinz had already been through.
Azhtabak Passes Through
Skkiter and Blacky
Blacky is a dragon. Nothing in the pit is. Dragons are terrifying. Skkiter's beast didn't have to do anything but fly around and look menacing, and easily survived the initial round.
Skkiter Passes Through
Shirkit and Alshain
Shirkit and her automaton, Alshain, entered the pit, and were immediately assaulted by a pack of Wolfrats. Alshain killed three of them quickly, but the rest managed to actually reach the construct. Another four of them died in combat as Alshain ripped into them, but the last two managed to knock it over, and damaged the metal enough to make Alshain inoperable.

Killcount Elimination
For the Second Round, the Judgerats decided to keep its nature a secret until the round began... and once the contestants were gathered, it was revealed to be... a Killcount Elimination! The contestants would, in the space of half an hour, required to kill 15 enemy beasts...
The Aviator and Bete Bizarre
The two entered the arena, and quickly sought out foes. After twenty minutes, the dynamic duo had found and killed 8 beasts - 7 shy of their total. The last ten minutes were spent frantically searching fo other things to kill, but nothing except for an old rat showed up for slaughter. After half an hour, the pair simply had not found enough beasts to kill.
Eliminated
Twitch and Goose
Nothing can escape the eye of the watcher in the sky. Goose took to the air immediately, and used his massibe guns to shoot down fifteen beasts within the five minutes.
Passed
Caseph and Harlequin
A Tank. And a Robot. The two went through the Pit like they were on a mission (and they were). Within ten minutes, they had killed ten out of the fifteen needed. Unfortunately, at this point, everything was scared of them, and in the last twenty minutes, they barely managed to reach their needed quota of fifteen.
Passed
Skritchit and Atlas
For the second round, Skritchit stayed near the door while Atlas sank into the earth. The earth elemental used his abilities to move quickly through the earth, finding weak opponents and easily killing them, meeting the quota easily.
Passed
Monstose and Venomoth
Venomoth took to the air immediately, and floated around, spreading the sleep-dust around everywhere. Lots of things fell asleep... unfortunately, not all of them did. When Venomoth went down to take out the sleeping ones, a massive Rat Ogre-cat leapt up from nowwhere, and grabbed the moth, dragging it down to the earth. Suffice to say, Venomoth did not kill anything after that...
Eliminated
Drachau and Vinz
The elf and the Giant made quite a pair as they strode through the massive doors to the Pit. The two strode around the pit, looking for anything to kill. They did find some, but the sight of a massive giant tends to scare things away. After the half-hour, only twelve kills were reported.
Eliminated
Squeenik and A-Type
Again, the intimidation factor is difficult. This pair killed only ten after half an hour, due to the prey running away rather than fighting.
Eliminated
Skkiter and Blacky
The massive dragon took to the sky, and acted much like Goose did, hunting down anything on the ground, and easily killing it.
Passed
So, those going onto the final are:
Twitch and Goose
Caseph and Harlequin
Skritchit and Atlas
Skkiter and Blacky
The Final Round Will be a free-for all... in the pit... with the beasts in the pit being... DRUGGED!
Final Round
DEATHMATCH
The four contestants were let in at the four corners of the pit. Immediately, Atlas sank into the earth, and Skritchit hid himself very well near the door. Caseph, mounted securely in his tank, followed his robotic beast purposefully among the stacks of mutilated corpses. They were immediately set upon by a variety of horrible beasts, but one after the other, they were all eliminated ruthlessly. However, the tide of beasts never seemed to end, and in their drugged state, they did not flee...
The other two entrants immediately sent their beasts to the air. Twitch, however, followed his beast in a strange machine that flew at astonishing speeds alongside his beast, the infamous Goose. Skkiter, on the other hand, rode atop his mighty dragon Blacky. For these two, the air was much less filled with drugged beasts, and those few that were around died quickly at the claws of these two.
It didn't take long for the flying beasts to reach eachother. Both Twitch and Goose fired Rockets and Cannons at the oncoming dragon, but Blacky shrugged off most of the damage, and returned with his own flaming breath. The fast dragon slammed into Goose, and the two began grappling in the air, Skkiter barely managing to hold on. Twitch circled the dueling pair, afraid to fire into the melee.
It was a vicious combat, the two of them hacking and slashing at eachother for at least ten minutes before a powerful bite from one of Blacky's five heads finally broke the Goose, and fell to earth. Angry, Twitch fired all he had at the dragon, and the rockets of the R-14 took their toll as Skkiter and Blacky fell out of the sky.
Meanwhile, Caseph and harlequin were beginning to lose ground. Harlequin was becoming slower and slower as minor damaged added up... and he was running out of ammunition, and was relying on close combat attacks. The two kept fighting until finally, several boulders, seemingly coming from out of nowhere, slammed into Harlequin and took him down.
Skritchit was declared the winner, much to the anger of some, as Atlas came back from the earth next to Skkiter, and the two strode out the doors.
So there ye go! UEGT coming right up!
